Chicken Livers

This recipe is so simple it hardly needs a write-up. Chicken livers are so so good for us, full of iron which our bodies need. Check out this easy recipe!

Serves 4

300 gms fresh chicken livers or as much as you like

5-6 cloves garlic, sliced

1-2 onions, sliced

splash of brandy (optional)

1/2 cup olive oil

1/4-1/2 cup oil/butter mix

seasoning

 

Heat olive oil. Add onion and garlic slivers and move around in pan. Do not burn but lightly caramalise. Remove.

Add the oil/butter, heat and before burning add the chicken livers and leave to caramalise before turning over.

Turn and add brandy. Caramalise but don't overcook! 3/4 cooked is best!

Season.

Remove from pan. Add to salad on plate.
